A little over one month ago, I was sitting by my computer and I asked the Universe to deliver me $5k or more by the end of the month.

Lo and behold, I was leaving the gym one afternoon and was involved in a car accident. A group of kids were rushing to get to Universal Studios and in their haste went through a red light and t-boned me. Luckily, I have a very safe car and was fortunate to leave the accident without being injured. When I arrived home, I thought to myself the accident must have happened for a reason. Instead of allowing myself to become negative, I decided right then and there that only something positive would come out of what most would consider a terrible situation.

A week passed and I received a call from the insurance adjuster, telling me that my car had over $20k in damage and it would be considered totaled. A few days after that, I received an email from the claims adjuster telling me they were going to pay off my car, given that it was a lease and one year remained on it. Also, I would be receiving a check for the difference, amounting to over $8k! From out of a terrible situation I received $8k and leased myself a brand new car, one that is even better than the last.

I have been studying LOA hardcore since January 2017 and what I realized is, in order to receive, one must let go. I asked the Universe once for what I wanted and never thought about it again. I tried my best to think good thoughts and feel happy and my wish was granted. When you constantly think about what it is you want, I believe you inherently realize the lack of it and therefore it causes a bit of resistance inside oneself. That in turn, is stopping you from receiving what you asked for in the first place. My advice to everyone who is reading this is to just let go. Remember, your only purpose in life is to be happy and it is up to us to allow it to be.
