I Manifested My Husband!
I am so excited to share this story with all of you. Back in June of 2016 I went through a break up with an ex boyfriend. I was so upset and could not believe that I was not with “the love of my life” anymore. For a few months I was pretty down. I tried to get him back to no avail until one day I told myself that I just could not do it anymore. I saw how upset I was and how it was affecting my family. So I let him go and I started my self love journey.
I knew that I had to “become who I wanted to attract”. So knowing this, I wrote down all the qualities I wanted in someone, like being kind, caring, loyal, family oriented, etc. I also wrote funny little things like, knows how to snowboard, knows how to surf and is adventurous. I looked at the list and I realized these are all things I want to be and want to try. So I started to work out. I would listen to “Happy” by Pharrell every morning. I would smile and yell out things I was grateful for on my drive to work. It put me in a good mood. I went snowboarding and tried surfing. I became more social and smiled at everyone. I started meeting people but I knew who was worth of my time and who wasn’t because I developed self love. I also did not want to waste anyone else’s time if I knew they were not who I wanted to be with. I was not just filling a void anymore, I did not just want a boyfriend. I knew I was complete on my own and that whoever I was going to be with would bring 100% to the relationship, just as I would bring 100% to the relationship. None of that 50/50 stuff.
Fast forward to 2 months after starting my self love journey. I got a friend request from an old coworker that I had not heard from or had seen in 7 years. I also only met him once for 10 minutes and some how we remembered each other. I accepted his friend request and we started chatting, then talking on the phone. I was living in California and he was in Seattle.
One month after we had started talking, I was going up to Seattle to visit my family so I thought it was time for us to finally hang out. So we did and it was amazing! I moved closer to where he was and we ended up dating. I made my intentions very clear. I told him I was looking for something serious. He was looking for the same and to my surprise, he crossed off all the things on my list. Even the snowboarding, surfing and skateboarding things. He had it all!
Fast forward to after dating for 7 months. He proposed to me. Then one year after the proposal we got married and we are still happy as ever! Thank you!
