Growing up there was a lot of agony in my family, a lot of dysfunction. I carried with me a lot of anger and resentment towards people. I had a chip on my shoulder and it was there to stay. I’ve been in some rough places that I truly thought was just my destiny. I believed my circumstances were just how my life was supposed to pan out and there was nothing I could do about it.

I’ve been homeless, I’ve been hungry and never had a dime in my pocket. I’ve been in trouble with the law and I have been down, deep down In a very dark place. I was full of hate. I hated everyone and believed they were out to do me wrong.

I was full of envy, I was envious of everyone who seemed to have happiness and success delivered at their feet. I was full of greed, I was greedy in the sense that I was all about David. I did whatever David wanted without remorse for anyone else’s feelings. Angry at the world. Resentment, fear, and sadness. All of the emotions, feelings and qualities that you would deem as “bad” in a person.

Although I had dreams the same as everyone else, I had goals, wants, wishes, and desires but couldn’t figure out why they weren’t happening for me.

About 3 years ago I met someone who cared very much about me and they knew. They knew The Secret, they made me watch it and by the time the movie was over I had a completely new outlook on life. I practiced what the movie spoke about and I didn’t really notice a major change right away. I noticed that I was feeling better more often and that’s about it. About a year passed and one day I was having a conversation with a friend and he was complaining to me about all of his problems and was really having a pity party, so I started telling him about The Secret. Which in turn made me put it in the DVD player and watch it again for myself and that’s when it hit me. I was doing exactly what I said I would be doing after watching it for the first time.

My life had completely changed 180 degrees in one year. I started my own business and it’s been flourishing ever since. I met someone so special to me and we have a great relationship. My family is back together and happy. I met new friends who share a positive outlook on life and I’m just completely surrounded with things and people that make me happy. Every day I wake up excited to find out what the world is offering for breakfast, so to speak Ha Ha.

I’m 23 years old and even though I have much to learn about many things I feel like I have such an immeasurable head start now that I know The Secret. So I thank you immensely for sharing and if I ever have an incredible, philosophical break through, I’ll be sure to fill you all In.
