All my life I got what I wanted, and never really knew that the Secret was what helped me. At a book store when shopping with friends I picked it up… I really didn’t have the money to spend, but the book looked like something I needed. I read it cover to cover the first night I got it, and lent it to a friend to read also. I was nervous at first – would it work? Well the more I look back on my life, I realized it had been there all along!

A house we had wanted and really couldn’t afford was shown to us. After many bids back and forth we let it go and gave up. But I really wanted that house, and I pictured the kids running around in it and the get togethers.

Well, after about 2 months of pining for this house I was at my breaking point. My youngest at the time was getting ready to move out of a crib and into a bed, which we didn’t have room for in the current house. I was alone in the basement and had a moment of just sobbing. I know I should have been grateful I even had a house, but I wanted and needed this new one. I asked for the house to be ours and to get it at a price we could afford. Well we got the house, and at a huge discount – even cheaper then the first bid we had on it.

The lesson here is you WILL get what you want. The universe has its own time line and it is always going to be for the better, even though you may not think so at the time!!!
