I have watched “The Secret” last 2010 only to find out that I have been practicing the power of LOA for various periods in my life.

When I was in college, I was a bank foundation scholar. I was required to report to the office of the bank foundation situated in Makati, a central business district here in the Philippines. Whenever I went there, I always saw myself working within that area. True enough, after I graduated, my 1st job was actually just a block away from the bank foundation’s office!

After working there for a year, I felt exhausted with the long travel everyday since my work place is around 1-2 hours away from home. One time, while I was on my way home, the cab I was riding stopped on a traffic light within a commercial area around 15 minutes away from where I live. At that exact place, I wished I can have a job within that area so that I don’t have to travel that long everyday. I also wished that I could work for a company where I can avail of special promos of its products since the current job I have is a health insurance provider, where I apparently can not avail any material products at all. After a few days, I saw a job posting ad in a newspaper for a position fit for my credentials. What gave me the chills is that its office was actually just on the exact street where I made my wish! After a couple of interviews, I got hired. Apparently, one of the benefits of the company is that it offers special discounts and deferred payment schemes to its employees, which is actually one of the things I was wishing for.

My succeeding jobs also had the same pattern. Not only for jobs, I also had the same experiences with other aspects of my life. I am aware also of some wishes I didn’t get to achieve, but now I just realized that the reason for that is because those are things that I am not really very passionate to have.

For quite some time, I have put off practicing the power of LOA and my life didn’t actually go well as I wanted it to. Thanks to this website that I accidentally visited one time, I am beginning to relive practicing the LOA again. Only a few days in and my positive outlook has been yielding a lot of blessings, be it as simple as wishing for the rain to stop, for work issues to be resolved, for a cab to arrive.

I am currently carrying a heavy concern for the past months, but I know I will be able to resolve it real soon, with the help of prayer and the power of LOA. I am already seeing myself writing my next inspiring story here within the next couple of weeks.
