I will narrate my story in a very simple manner. I always dreamt about being a movie director and seeing my name on the silver screen! But I was into banking as a sales manager. As some of you may know, we had targets and extreme pressure in banking and I couldn’t pursue my dream of being a film director.

Four years passed by. One day I got this excellent book called The Secret. I literally trusted what was written in that book and started this practice:

1. Ask

2. Believe

3. Receive

I asked the Universe for what I wanted, to become a feature film director. I believed that I would become a film director!!!
I resigned from my sales manager job at the HDFC bank. That caused some middle-class family problems but I believed (Step 2) in a very strong manner that those problems were not really problems at all.

And you know what?! The Universe came through and I  directed three short films and those short films got many views! But, I still wanted to be a feature film director. Every day, every second I was visualizing my name as a director on the big screen!!!

My parents, friends, everyone thought that I was just daydreaming, and if visualizing is the same thing as daydreaming, they might have been right. I was visualizing, writing stories, and watching movies! Then the Universe which had already been responding to my positive thoughts gave me step 3. I received what I wanted!

Yes! I have directed a film called “Subrahmanyapuram” and it fared well at the box office. As a result of that film, I am directing my second film now in a very big production banner!!!

Trust me, just trust in the Universe. Ask for it, believe it, and receive it! It is never too late to start. I might write a novel about how The Secret shaped my life secretly!
