IndiaI'm a positive, happy women trying to transform people around me and the world with the knowledge I'm gaining every day.
Hello everyone,
I would like to share my story of how The Secret changed my life. It was around 2020 when I first came across the book, and I was going through a rough patch in my life. I was struggling with negativity, lack of confidence, and belief in myself. I was never sure of my decisions, and I always thought about the consequences before taking any action.
After I bought the book, I read it with an open mind, and it had a profound impact on me. I became emotional while reading it, and I couldn’t stop crying. I kept asking myself why no one had shared these principles of positive thinking with me before.
As a Christian, I was already familiar with the concepts of gratitude, positive thinking, and asking, believing, and receiving, but I had never practiced them in my life. “The Secret” opened my eyes to the power of these principles, and I started to apply them in my daily life.
I believe that everyone should learn about these principles, regardless of their religion, nationality, or beliefs. I wish that every person in the world could have access to this knowledge and apply it in their lives.
I have many success stories to share, but I would like to start with my most recent manifestation. I was working in a company for over two years, where I didn’t receive any recognition or encouragement for my hard work. I also didn’t receive a good salary, and I was frustrated with my career.
During my notice period, I decided to write down what I wanted in my new job. I listed the following:
1. Work for a product based company
2. Earn 18 LPA
3. Have a hybrid work model
4. Work with friendly and encouraging colleagues
5. Receive a welcome gift with the company’s name
6. Get a brand new laptop
7. Have flexible work hours
I spent the first month learning the necessary tools, and during the second month, I applied for more than 30 jobs every day. However, I did not receive any calls from potential employers.
At the beginning of the third month, I re-watched The Secret movie and reminded myself that I had asked for a new job, and so I would receive it. Soon after that, I received a lot of interview calls and attended around 10 interviews. Out of the ten, I was selected in three and rejected from the rest.
However, none of the jobs I was offered checked off all the items on my wish list. I did not lose hope and kept believing that I would get what I had asked for.
In the final week of my notice period, I received calls from two companies, and I got selected in both. Out of the four companies, I had to choose from, two checked off all the items on my wish list. I chose the world’s number one company, and I received a salary that was even more than what I had asked for. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Now, when I log in every day, I feel grateful for my job and the opportunities it has given me. I hope my story inspires you to have positive thoughts, gratitude, and belief in yourself, regardless of your religion or beliefs.
Thank you for reading, and have a great day!
