I remember reading The Power as the first book I read by Rhonda Byrne. I was going through a very hard time after a heartbreak. It was during a vacation on the Kenyan coast that I learned about the power of visualization and I remember trying to attract small things like a white dove, a white dog, and a woman dressed all in yellow. I even started attracting money through visualization. I also practiced The Magic of gratitude. I still do all of this to this day.

Once I was back home, I read The Secret and watched the movie. I created a vision board and used it for my laptop wallpaper. One of my dreams was to travel to the US and also to have a great relationship. I followed the gratitude practices and I used visualization. I applied for a visa and practiced gratitude for months and on the day of my interview, I already believed I had my visa. It felt like I was in a dream when the interviewer said “Your visa is approved”. I had already started talking to someone from the US and later surprised him with the great news.

Long story short, I am in the US and I am in a great relationship with the love of my life. I have a job and I am able to take care of all my bills. I am currently visualizing even greater things and there is one thing in particular that I will write about in a few weeks once it is manifested. I am 100% sure it will come to be exactly the way I have been writing it and speaking it out as an affirmation.

I believe in The Secret, the power of gratitude, in meditation, and in visualization. Thoughts do become things!
