In our family, we are known for having “rolling veins”, veins which move around when someone is attempting to draw blood or whatnot. Today I went to the doctor and had to do some bloodwork. After seeing The Secret many times and applying it to my daily life, I decided today was the day my veins were going to sit themselves still.

By applying the suggestions, I let go of the fears that I was gonna have to be poked numerous times and the nurse was never going to find a vein. I’m not even a person who is afraid of needles, I just used to recycle inside of me this belief that “Well this is how it always is with us, blah blah blah.”

Well, today I released the negativity and felt positive about my body being able to have its blood drawn on the first time around, understanding that this was going to happen because I allowed it to happen. And it worked! I was so excited that it motivates me even further to accomplish so much in life.

Oh and one more thing: For those who automatically think and assume that this happens to white people and can’t for anybody else, THINK OTHERWISE! I’m a young black female from Detroit. Allow yourself to believe and feel good – things will come your way as long as you remember The Secret!!
