This is my story about how I found my best friend after 10 long years. I believe it’s the law of attraction that brought him to me. I know many of you people might wonder if it is worthwhile to apply law of attraction on friendship.

Well, let me share my story and you will know.

It was years back, I am in my final days of 5th grade consistently trying to learn and perform better in my class. A new student just came to our class, we all wondered, who is this guy, joining school at the end of academic year? And then we came to know that he was from the US and came to India and so he has to study here.

He sat in one of the first benches of the class and was listening with a great attention. After a few days he was sitting beside me. I liked his knowledge in the areas of subjects which we are yet to be introduced. It attracted my attention. We became good friends. We use to play basketball every weekend. He always ranked first in the class and I was behind him most of the time.

He is the reason that I studied hard, loved to learn more and more with keen interest, experimented on various ways of learning. In about four months, we were promoted to sixth grade. Now he is my best friend. I went to school just to talk to him and study together.

After about a year from the time he joined our school, he said he will leave to US very soon. I thought he was just joking and didn’t believe him. After about 15 days, one day he didn’t come to school. I thought he might be ill and he will come tomorrow. But he never did.

Then I came to know that he left to US. I contacted a very distant family friend of his and got his telephone number. I contacted his dad and unfortunately the line was bad and we couldn’t talk properly. I couldn’t find him, nor talk to him. I remember him saying that he will be back to India when we are in 10th grade. But he never came.

I was waiting 10 years with a hope that I might meet him some day. I searched through the internet, almost all social networking sites, but there was no sign of him.

And finally I am sure I will never find him again. But I didn’t give up. I started to say that I will meet my best friend, we will spend some time together.

A few months later, I found him on facebook!

I sent him a friend request, he accepted my request and we started talking a lot. I was very happy at that moment. This is really a miracle. I want to meet him personally. Within a year I met him, he said he will come to India for his winter vacation.

I met him a few weeks back. We spent a little time together. We discussed a lot of things, our future, goals, interests.

Just before the winter vacation I came across The Secret with the help of my friend and her college professor. I am stunned at the way the The Law of Attraction works. It was exactly the same as I had applied it!

I am happy that there is a theory about The Law of Attraction. Believe it or not, it works. I believe in The Secret.
