I had been such an aspirant of this multi-national oil company, but there had been no openings that matched my skills and degree taken every time I applied to them.

I got to a point of being so desperate to be part of the company. I always imagined in my mind their company logo, and the Universe in such assistance always kept reminding me of it, and would always let me pass by their gas stations – a sort of a reminder for me to stick with my goals to be part of the this multi-national team. Also, I knew its head office location here in Manila, in one of the high rise buildings here in Makati business district. And so I would visualize myself entering in and out of the company’s high rise building to report for work.

The next coming days, while browsing the internet, I saw their online advertisement. This oil company was finally in need of someone like me. In short, I could say I was rightly fit for the post. I did not wait. Right then and there I clicked the ‘apply online’ button – I applied for the job.

A couple of days passed, and no calls came from this company. But I never held back my faith… I even strengthened my belief, and stuck with my emotions to be more grateful and happy towards life, and I also focused myself on believing that the job is for me.

After a week, I got an interview call invite from the company. I have passed its couple of interviews, and to make the story short, here I am, now part of this multi-national oil company I dreamed of. Not only the prestige, but the professional colleagues I have around now, having a good boss and cheerful colleagues that continually motivate me to service this company.
