It’s a dream come true. Trust me, and just believe The Secret – it works all the time.

Five months ago someone close to me shifted his house to another location. He gave two months notice to the landlord. Everything was going on fine, until the day when the landlord was supposed to give him back the deposit money. He had paid him Rs.50,000 initially, and after the deduction the landlord agreed to return Rs.35,000. He gave Rs.10,000 by cash and Rs.25,000 by cheque. The twist is, is that the cheque was bounced due to insufficient funds four times, and the landlord gave the excuses that he will give it to us later, he doesn’t have the cash, he is out of town, he is in hospital… blah, blah, blah.

Then someone close to me said to me, “Leave it, it’s gone. Forget about the money, and the landlord is a criminal lawyer by profession so it’s next to impossible.”

I told him, “I will not leave it, it’s not only about the money, but how dare he give us excuses and how dare he take us for granted. And he is doing this because we are not from Bangalore.”

I took my friends help initially and thought of filing a complaint in the police station, but my gut feeling kept telling me it wasn’t right, as even the police were highly corrupt. So I kept on chasing, kept on asking. My friend even said, “Do what you want, let’s see how you take your money back.”

We kept calling again and again and we even we recorded all the call conversations, etc. And guess what? One fine day, he called and asked us to come to collect the money. I was so, so, so, so, so, happy, my Universe heard my prayers. I was so, so positive that I would get the money back, no matter how many people discouraged me, even my parents were against me.

I gave my friends their share and I took the rest of the money and did a whole lot of shopping… ha, ha, ha. I’m so, so, so very happy. I did it because I believed in the UNIVERSE.
