I Did Not Know The How But I Had The Will.

In 2013 I desperately needed a fresh start. I felt rusty and demotivated.
Funny enough, during this time I never felt an urge to look for positions or even contact any employment agencies, but “a new job” was my daily thinking.
A good friend of mine was approached by an agency for a position. She encouraged me to apply for it as she was planning to open a new business. I did and felt regret as I did not have any project management experience.
But the feedback they gave me was good. They emphasized my strong points. I mean these are the people (panel) I met with for an hour and their feedback really struck a cord with my being. I was energized. This reminded me of my good days as a Facilitator/Trainer. I yearned for that feeling again as I knew how it made me feel and I promised to bring that feeling back into my life.
It was already the Christmas season during my stay at home. I would take a few minutes to go over my copy of The Secret preparing myself for the next year. I went back to work with just one resolution, that 2014 is going to be a good year. I did not know the HOW, but I had the WILL.
In March I took my annual leave and booked myself for a general check up with my Doctor. I was not sick but I felt I needed it. While I was there I got a call from this agency checking to see if I am still in the market as “my prospective employer” has decided to hire me.
The rest is history!
I am having the best of my life, busy learning new things and full of challenges. I am studying project management with my tuition fully paid for by my employer.
Thanks for bringing The Secret to the masses.
