Ok, so it was like mid-September and school had just started. I was piled up with homework and I had forgot to study for my English test. I had realized it the morning of, and I was sort of freaking out because it was the beginning of the year and we had to study like 20 S.A.T words, and this test counted a lot and I wanted to start off good with my grades so then I can continue on from there. So anyways, after I had figured out that I forgot to study, I blocked all the negative thoughts from my head and I just kept repeating in my head, “No matter what I will get a hundred on this test.” And that’s what I was saying in my head all day. It comes time for the test and I’m walking to my class as I’m repeating these words. I sit down in my seat and the bell rings and my teacher starts talking and says that we are taking the test in groups. And no less, the people in my group had studied and were extremely smart to begin with. So it so happened that I had got a 105 on that test! Because I had also got the extra credit right. I was just blown away by the fact that if you truly believe you can achieve anything in life. Gratitude is key!
