I saw The Secret movie back in December 2007 for the first time. I recently bought the book and am reading it. I am not finished with it yet but have started applying some of the principles.

I have found that the visualization part was the hardest for me. I have been working on it for the last few days. I have found that by reading the book and reading the testimonies on this site I am learning how easy it really is to visualize my life the way that I want it to be. I am asking and visualizing a large amount of money into my life. I do not know how it is going to happen but I do know that it will happen, it already has! I have started making my plans. I have already talked to my husband about the money and things that we will be doing with it. He loves my positive attitude! And I love that about him.

I had a breakthrough tonight. I am finding that I can visualize exactly how much money I want and what I am doing with it. I wrote it all down and I am going to bed in a few minutes and am going to meditate for 10 minutes or so on the life I have with the money. The part in the book where one of the speakers tells you to look very closely at your hands, then to close your eyes and imagine those hands wrapped around your dream car, was like a dam breaking loose for me! After that I am able to visualize it all.

Daily I wake up and thank God for the blessings that I have. I say to the universe how grateful I am for all of the wonderful blessings that I have been given. This has made a wonderful difference in my daily life.

Yesterday I thought all day that when I got home there would be money in the mailbox. It didn’t occur to me until just now, while reading the testimonies on this site, that in a way I got money in the mail. We received our tax notice on our house, it included a tax relief that we were not aware of, that gave us a savings of over $500.00. I didn’t ask for a specific amount of money, I just wanted something to happen that had to do with money, and it did.

Also, I realized today that I have always used the law of attraction when going to find a parking space. I never even knew that is what I was doing. I always enter a parking lot and say… “There will be a spot for me in the front row,” and there usually is. I have always loved how I could make that happen.

So, I guess I have always known that this works.
