Hi all,

I last read the book in 2007 and had sort of decided to try it to get a guy, who was my friend then to be my boyfriend. I did just as the book said, and I finally got him… Yay!!

We dated for nearly three years, till last year I started getting very negative about things. I was in school and we were long distance for nearly a year. I was getting tired of the long distance and my frustration started effecting us negatively. In short, I pushed him away… He never said anything, as he loved me a lot. But then came a point when he just could not take it anymore and decided to break up.

I begged, pleaded, cried, but none of it worked with him. He kept saying that he had fallen out of love and did not want this relationship anymore. However, his actions were too positive to reflect that he wanted a complete break-up. Somehow, I just knew that all he wanted was a break as he was tired of the constant fighting and bickering. He used to always tell me that I have changed and was no longer the same person he fell in love with.

So when none of my pleas were working and he needed his break up, I decided to let him go for I had no choice. I cried for a week, but this time I remembered The Secret!! I remembered how I had attracted more negative things, by being all negative and nagging, and this drove us apart. I re-read the book and watched the movie. I followed the advice; I made my vision board, asked for him to get back to me and call me from the Universe, believed that he already did, and kept feeling good, excited, and happy!! I felt such amazing gratitude towards him and the UNIVERSE for getting my wishes to come true…

And guess what… it did. He called me the exact way I had written down in my book, right down to the exact detail, and we are finally discussing our lives together from here on…
