I wanted to submit a story to express my gratitude to all those involved in the creation of The Secret. The discovery of the DVD has dramatically changed the way I view my life in general. It has provided me with the blessings of knowing how to change my life for the better. I am able to feel more in control of how things turn out in my life. It is a great feeling in itself to know now that I have the ability to receive a desired outcome from any situation or event in my life.

I used to believe that certain things unfolded the way they did because they were beyond my control. I now know better. I realize with 100% certainty that I have the power to manifest any desired outcome I choose.

There was a point not long ago when I was unemployed and needed a job. I was turned down by the first company I applied to. I then sent my resume to another prospect of mine. I did not get a response from them after about a week. At that point I decided instead of emailing them my resume I would send it via fax. Within about 5 days of faxing my resume to the company, I received a call from someone in management asking me if I would like to come in for an interview. As soon as the phone call concluded I began to thank the Universe for my new job. I decided to believe with everything I had that this interview would turn into my new place of employment. I went to the interview, and it went well. After the interview I continued being thankful for my new job, even though the employer had yet to confirm my hiring, as they needed to check my references and background before offering me the position. During the time I was awaiting them to call me back and formally offer the position, I said aloud several times a day, “Thank you for my new job, thank you for my employment.”

Almost 2 weeks went by, and while I still hadn’t heard back from the company, I continued to fully believe that the job was mine. I wrote on a 3×5 index card, “Thank you for my new job”, and I carried it in my pocket every day as a reminder to continue to believe that I was hired.

Just a few days ago I got the call I knew was coming to me. The company I interviewed for phoned me and told me that I was hired and would be starting in 2 weeks. I was extremely grateful to hear those words.

It is such a blessing to have received this opportunity of employment. I would not allow myself to believe anything other than I was hired and the job was waiting for me. I sincerely believe I received this job because I stayed strong in my belief that I would be offered the position.

The ability to manifest my desires is such an awesome feeling! I am eternally grateful for being introduced to this knowledge. Thank you once again to all those involved in the creation of The Secret! My life is forever changed for the better!
