A month ago, my soul mate and the love of my life walked out on me. It was my fault. I didn’t have my priorities right. I’m a bit of a popular guy and loved the nightlife so I hardly ever put her first. Instead, I fed my ego and tried to make everyone else happy. I was devastated and couldn’t sleep.

Last week, a friend lent me her copy of the book, The Secret, not knowing what I was going through. I decided to start reading but only got through a few pages. I then bumped into my soul mate and she told me I should move on and I found out she is with someone else. Instead of moping, I decided to read the book completely, take notes and adopt The Secret as a way of life, not just as a tool to use.

I started using affirmations to bring her back into my life. I stated it as a fact that she would return. I visualize our wedding day and the things I want to do give her and the places I want to take her. I keep telling myself “the Universe loves me and wants to see me happy”, “the Universe is my friend”, “Trust the Universe, believe and have faith” “The Universe will move all circumstances, people and events for me”. Added to that I have been practicing gratitude and feeling good, knowing as an absolute fact that the Universe will bring me what I asked for and she will return and we will love each other like never before.

Some amazing things have been happening these past 7 days:

1. A day after I last saw her, I gained the greatest clarity of my life. I now know how to show I love her and saw how I should’ve treated her and what kind of person I needed and wanted to become so I could be the man she believed I could be. I quit alcohol completely and have had no urge to go out to clubs at all.

2: Two days ago, I got a call about a job I had applied for 6 times in the past year. They asked me to come in for an interview tomorrow.

3: I was usually hesitant to ask for money, but this week, my friends and family have been gifting me money for my expenses and to get a haircut for my interview.

4: One of the things that I wanted to change is to dress better. Not just for her but for me as well. It was a way of showing that I love myself. Today, I went shopping for something new to wear for my interview. It’s at the same store I have been going to for 5 years and today, I got a big discount that I never even knew existed.

5. While I was shopping, one of the assistants randomly said her name.

She has not returned yet but all that has happened this week keeps me in the belief that Universe is working its magic and that the LOA is real and my desire will manifest. All I need to do now is get out of the Universe’s way and allow it to rearrange itself and do it all and make it happen for me.
