I had many frustrations living in NYC, one being the subways. I either just missed it or had to wait what felt like forever in city time. Shortly after watching the Secret I started applying it to my daily life… whenever I had to leave I would visualize the subway being at the station waiting for me. It took a few days – it did not happen instantly – but when it did it was amazing.

One day I had a full schedule, lots of places to go and many trains to take. From the very first time I swiped my metrocard the subway was at the platform waiting for me. I thought nothing of it at first, but after it happened the 3rd or 4th time I stood in shock. I’m talking the subway was at the platform, doors open, and I just walked right on or it was arriving and it would stop where the doors would open directly in front of me. I started freaking out, everyone was staring, I had to tell people. I started calling my friends to tell them, most thought I was crazy, or they just didn’t care. For the rest of the day and almost every day after the subway was like a dependable boyfriend.
