A few months ago, I remember repeatedly telling everyone (family and friends) that I wanted to have a career that I LOVED. At that time, I was in a job that I absolutely despised. I hated the fact that my job felt mundane and monotonous; above all, I felt under-appreciated by the executives in the company. I tried to find another job, but when, “We’re in a recession!” was plastered on every major newspaper, I decided to stay put.

I watched The Secret DVD for a few weeks, which built up my confidence, and I started to gain more respect from the executives, but I still hated my job.

A few weeks later, I received a shock when I was unexpectedly let go from the company. I was about to hit a depression – feeling confused and dejected. I continued to watch The Secret DVD, and I started to write a “Secret Gratitude Journal”.

Now, only a few months later, I have a great internship doing marketing for an Italian fashion photographer. I cannot believe how much I love my job. I wake up smiling, and ready to go to work. Life seems to have so many more possibilities for me.

I am living my best life and will continue to utilize The Secret practices to obtain everything I want in my life.
