One day outside with my husband just enjoying the day. It was sunny and just a nice day. He was washing his truck like he normally does on his day off. I always like to spend as much time with him as I can and just be around. He is the opposite of me so we normally don’t get along with comments. For the past few years, we had just seemed to grow apart. Feelings seem to have gotten lost somewhere in the sky. We do love each other but it’s different now. I’ve been going through some difficult times with my mom’s loss in December 2020. I think I was pushing him away with anger and fear of life.

So back to the sunny, beautiful day. I asked if he needed any help and I got upset over his words, which I don’t even remember. Instead of saying something bad, I went to my room and started looking for my books by Rhonda Byrne. With anger, I couldn’t locate them but I finally did. I sat down in a chair outside by his truck where I could still hear and see him. I opened The Secret and started reading so fast. I asked for peace and to help me chill before something was said over anger. I read about half the book and I was like, wow! I felt at peace with myself. In between, I would think happy thoughts and how much I love my husband. I practiced my gratitude again and said thank you 3 times after. I pictured us laughing and spending a lot of time with each other. I felt the love we had when we first met.

After this day I continued to read and go back to my own gratitude journal. Since then, every day has been different. My husband feels closer to me and my kids are also different. I feel different.

Give more love out and bless your words after. I now say I love you more, whenever he says I love you! I also started to re-read The Secret once again. Thank you so much to Rhonda and her team. I fell back in love with my high school sweetheart, my husband. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
