I have always wanted a diamond ring. My husband and I married when we were young and still in college. We both had college tuition to pay so we could not afford a diamond ring that I wanted. Instead of buying something cheap I decided to wait until we had the money to buy a real diamond ring.

Between paying the tuition, house mortgage and two kids, we never seemed to have money for my ring. But I never lost hope for it. I would visit different jewelry stores and try out different rings. I would look at rings at Costco online and I selected a ring and put in the cart, pretending to buy it.
I pretended that I owned that ring and I would feel so grateful.

This week on our 25th wedding anniversary, my husband gifted me a beautiful diamond ring. Just like I always wanted it!
