Ok, so this may not be a wow sort of story to most of you but it is still mine to share.

On Sunday we went to buy take aways for our workers. We decided to buy some for ourselves as well. As we went to another store to buy the sodas and bread, my hubby said we should buy a coke for ourselves to enjoy with our meal. I looked him straight in the eye and said, “No!” Imagine his face!

Before he could say anything, I said the owner at the takeaway shop is going to give us a 2 liter coke for free when we go to collect our order. This was just an order for burgers and chips. It was not a special that might entitle us to any kind of free drinks.

Now please keep in mind that this happened on the same day I started reading The Secret book.

So off we go to pick up our order and guess what? As the owner was busy packing our burgers, he told one of his staff members to give us a 2 liter coke. Free of charge! And he said it with a huge smile on his face. Of course, my face lit up as well because I had just experienced The Secret in action. I just could not help myself to loudly say, “Thank you, Jesus.”
