I came across The Secret last year when my brothers were watching it. I did not pay much attention, but had it at the back of my mind.

Several months passed and it came to me out of curiosity; my brothers were watching with such interest and it wasn’t a Hollywood movie, but they were glued to the screen. So I went to search for the DVD in my brother’s bedroom and I found it. I watched and I was blown away, but after some few months I forgot about it.

I watched it again in June this year after breaking up with my boyfriend and feeling really bad. I had to put my life back on track. I was applying The Secret all wrong because I kept focusing on what was going wrong in my life instead of giving thanks and focusing on gaining growth. I gave my friend the DVD and was left hopeless because up to today I still haven’t met my friend to get the DVD back.

Things took a turn in October when my mum helped me look for a job. I was called for an interview and I reported to work in November. Where I work they are doing a lot of changes, so most of the time we are just free. I decided to Google The Secret, and what I discovered was amazing, especially reading other people’s stories!!! I read every morning for some time now and I have started to experience change and am sooo thankful.

Three or four days ago I wrote on paper that I have The Secret book. One day later my dad was moving things from an old office and what do I find among the books? A photocopy of The Secret book. Although not all the pages, but still I was so excited I kept jumping around telling my sister, “The Secret worked!” Just immediately my brother said he had another Secret movie apart from the one I gave my friend. I was sooo thrilled. I watched the movie again.

So yesterday we did not have lights in our house, and all our neighbours had lights, so we knew we had been disconnected. Just for fun, my sister, cousin, and I started saying that we are drawing lights to our house and we will receive a miracle. By the time we were going to bed at 9:30 the lights came back, it was amazing.

I am just seeing amazing things happen all the time for the past one week. I had decided to write my story next year, but I will have too many stories to fill one page so am writing now!!!!

P.S. I am waiting for my full salary although I worked only half a month. ;p. The Secret is amazing if applied correctly, it brings so much joy in people’s lives and I am really grateful that I have experienced the power of The Secret. I will spread the word because everyone deserves to experience this.
