Ok, so I watched The Secret in July, but I was a little skeptical because I couldn’t think of anything I wanted cause my life was going pretty good. But one day I really wanted an Egg McMuffin
really bad… and so I said, well, I’ll just use the Secret to get it.

The next day my Mom woke me up and said, “What do you want from McDonald’s? I’m getting breakfast from there.” I was shocked. Then, since it was so good I wanted more. I went to my cousin’s afterwards and I stayed the night (I’m only 13), then we woke up early and one of my cousin’s had to go to band camp so my aunt decided, “I’ll just go to McDonalds’ so she’s not late. I was again shocked. But wait, there’s more… so then when she dropped her off at band camp and my aunt went to work we went back home and he said, “We should go back up to McDonald’s before breakfast is over.”

Fast forward a couple months…

So now it’s September and school is starting. I don’t know why but I have weird dreams during the school year. So one night I had this dream where a hummingbird ran into my eye, and it was really weird because it felt so real – I could feel the wind from its wings and the pain in my eye. And so I could not stop thinking about the dream for the next couple days.

Then one day I’m sitting at the table and I look outside and there was a green dot above the flowers. And I thought it was a bee but it was too big, and then I thought it was a flower but the flowers were pink… so I put my glasses on, and it was a hummingbird… and that was the first time in my whole life that I’ve seen a hummingbird (it was also a cloudy and rainy day… so it had to be the Secret).
