How The Secret worked for me

Norwich, UKHappy and cheerful guy and thanks to Rhonda and her Team, working as an Account Manager for an on-line marketing company.
I’ve read a lot of these stories and feel truly inspired and positive as a result of hearing of how many people experience miracles regularly. You’re part of the reason why I’m able to share my story, so thank you for taking the time to write.
In September last year I was struck down by a virus which damaged my balance system. The severity of my ailments meant that walking, talking, concentrating and driving were all near impossible. I had to move back to my parents home as I wasn’t able to look after myself and advised to take several months off work.
To add to my ill health at the time, I was in a job which I disliked because of the constant name calling and lack of professionalism in the office. The financial problems I was experiencing at the time meant that I was staring at the possibility of losing my home too, due to the inability to work.
The time off was a great opportunity to re-align myself with the Universe and re-capture what I had lost. Watching The Secret, I realised that my past thoughts and actions had created my circumstances. So everyday I told myself that I was getting better, my home would be safe and I will work in an industry that I enjoy with people I like and respect. Through my pure belief in the Universe and knowing it would always yield, I was eventually discharged from hospital earlier than expected and no longer required rehabilitation. I was told by my employers that my job was under threat due to the amount of time I had off, but I didn’t care.
I knew the Universe was on my side and it would always deliver, because I asked it to. I went for a walk around the village to enjoy some late summer sun when a ladybird landed on me. I immediately made a wish to ask for a new job. When my mobile phone beeped with a text from an old friend who I hadn’t seen in years, I could barely contain my excitement and smiled whilst shedding a tear of joy. He asked if I was looking for work and would I be interested in an Account Managers role with his internet company. Naturally I accepted the interview and will be starting with his team in the near future.
As for my home, I saw an advert for a letting agency looking for new landlords. I decided that I would visualise it and played out the conversation with them in my head, believing it would come true. A different friend phoned me to ask how I was doing and I explained my circumstances. Not only had she she experienced a similar illness, she had got a new job with the same agency I visualised. WOW!!! She helped me find a tennant who paid a years rent in advance.
I feel I’m living proof, along with many others, that sometimes it may take some time to get want you want, but the Universe always yields as long as you believe it can. I strongly recommend signing up for the Secret Scrolls, which offers some inspirational words and really helped me focus.
Thank you doesn’t seem to cover it, but I’m grateful to Rhonda and her team, but also anyone who has taken the time to write.
