My husband and I owned an apartment that we rented out. The rent payments were just breaking even and we had no plans to move in ourselves, so we decided to sell it. This building has a lot of issues, so we anticipated that selling it might take a while. Also the market price was now a lot lower than what we had paid for it.

The thought of selling at a loss made me feel very anxious. I finally got to a point where I let it go and left it all in God’s hands and said, “You know best, I am sure you will help us get the best deal.” I envisioned selling the apartment to a family and wishing them the best of luck in their new home. I believed there was a right buyer for our apartment who would love the place, and we would attract the right person. I also envisioned getting multiple offers and interest for our apartment and us being excited to sell it. I would walk past the building and look up at the apartment and thank it for making us home owners and just try and feel as much gratitude as I could for it.

For the first 3 months there was no interest in the apartment. Not a single enquiry, in spite of being listed on major property portals. However, I was surprisingly feeling at ease knowing that God had my back. In the fourth month, our tenant himself said he wanted to buy it. My husband negotiated a price that was well above the going market rate! A few days later we got 2 other calls from interested prospective buyers, just as I had envisioned!

We sold the apartment to our tenant. On the transfer date, my husband and I were so excited as the sale was going to make us millionaires, another goal we were manifesting. Our tenant came in with his wife and baby and I congratulated them just as I had imagined. They said that this apartment had been lucky for them and they were so excited to buy their dream home.
