I would like to express my gratitude to Rhonda Byrne and to The Secret team for sharing the power and magic of the Universe with the world in such a simple and attractively interactive way. You have made a really huge difference in so many lives!

Now, getting to my story: It was early morning at about 5:30 am on a week off and I woke up in a lot of pain. I realized that I had gotten my period. I got up and started looking for the pain killers. Now, this was the only med that works when I have menstrual cramps. I have tried other pain killers too, really good ones but none of them ever worked. So it was just the regular ones that I needed. And I did not have any left! The medical store does not open till 9 am or so, so I knew that I was going to be in pain for quite some time if nothing was done about it. Also, my cramps are really bad! I could have laid there in pain all day, really uncomfortably because but it would not just go away on its own.

So I took a tablet of the pain killer that I had which was not my regular one and laid down. Please note, I did take the tablet expecting that it was going to make the pain go away. I did not have an iota of doubt in spite of my past experiences. I simply took it without thinking about it and lay down for it to have its effect. But it did not work.

After waiting for quite some time for it to work, I realized that if the pain killer was going to have an effect it would have had it by now, as it was an instant relief type of pain killer. So when there was no relief at all and the pain just kept aggravating me, I decided to use The Secret and the law of attraction.

I calmly affirmed to myself with full belief, “I am laying down comfortably, and I am free from any kind of pain. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.”
I must have affirmed and expressed my gratitude three times or more and within 10 seconds, the pain decreased drastically. I added even more belief and repeated my affirmation, “I am laying down comfortably, and I am free from any kind of pain. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.”

And it went away!

It was certainly not because of the pain killer. Had it not been my menstrual cramps, if it had been a simple headache or something else, it would have worked instantly. I would not have had to wait that long.

But now you know what did work for me! And frankly, it always does and it always will. For everyone. The Universe always provides.

It’s a three step process: Ask. Believe. Receive.

And don’t forget to visualize the outcome, let go and trust the Universe completely and implicitly! The ‘how’ is none of our business!
