I’ve been using The Secret for years and have many great stories to tell but here is a recent one that includes two manifestations at the same time.

A favorite author of mine, who is Irish, released a new book and was doing a book tour. I checked the schedule and saw he was only touring the UK. I was disappointed but knew that even if he toured the US, Denver wouldn’t be on his list because it’s too small.

A couple of weeks later, he posted his US tour dates and I eagerly checked it out. Denver wasn’t on the list, but Ft. Collins, a minuscule college town an hour north of us, was on the list!

On my way to the signing the next week, I was so excited and I actually listened to music on my ancient mp3 player instead of the books I usually listen to in the car. A song popped into my head but being later in the alphabet, I knew I wouldn’t get to hear it and thought maybe when I left, I’d try to find it since I didn’t want to flip through the song list while driving.

The signing was great. The author was funny and super nice and spent time talking to all of us and allowed us take pictures with him. I bought two books and he signed them both with actual messages.

Later, I went to my car, turned on my mp3 player and the song I’d been thinking about came on! Somehow when I had thrown it into my purse it had scrolled through my music until it hit that song!
