I am 19. I was eagerly waiting for smartphones to arise in my life. I was jealous that many of my friends had smartphones at the age of 15 but I did not. My mom would say when you enter college, then I will purchase you one.

The first year of college went by. Then my Dad promised me that if I got good marks in the second year of my college, he would definitely buy me my desired smartphone. Luckily I was sharp in my studies and always got good scores. But I also was feeling that it was only a dream and so I gave up.

I was becoming a practitioner of spirituality. I knew that spirituality teaches that our thoughts become our reality, so I just decided to test it out. I acted as if I already had a smartphone already and that I was really enjoying using it. One thing you should know is that before this I never knew anything about “The Secret” but at the end of this story I will tell you how I got to know about The Secret.

I had a thought that came to my mind, that I could watch Youtube videos to choose which smartphone that I would like to have. I liked the Oppo Reno Promax but when I saw how much it cost, I was shocked to see how expensive it was. It cost $45,000. But still, my inner voice was telling me to get all of the details about this smartphone anyway.

Our family was just a middle class family and we can not afford expensive items. I was always looking for a smartphone that could match our budget so that I could convince my parents to buy me one. But, the magic was about to happen.

I was continuosly watching about three to four videos to learn more about this smartphone. At that moment only, my Mom told me to get ready to buy my phone. While I was in the electronic shop, my Mom got herself a new phone as her old phone had been given to my brother a day ago. After my Mom finalized her phone. Then we started to look for a phone for me and we finalized my phone. It cost $18,000. After we registered everything the salesperson showed me the back of the phone. It was shiny and glittery and it reminded me exactly of the phone I had been looking for when I was at home! The amazing thing was that it matched our budget! I was so happy and I thanked God for it and I thanked my Mom.

Later on, I installed a book reading app on my phone. So this was how I got to know about The Secret. I got to know about the magic of gratitude. After knowing this, I thanked God and the Universe multiple times for making my life miraculous.

I am so grateful and thankful that The Secret was in my life.
