In a much much better placeI am a student currently at university, who was always told that he was a middle achiever, never understood why until The Secret came into my life as an eye opening experience.
Initially, I was going to wait until the end of the academic year to share my story. However, the urge inside me to exemplify the greatness of The Secret and to thank Rhonda as soon as I could for sharing such a wonderful secret with us, could not wait any longer!
There are a lot of stories about education on this site and like the readers, who are reading my story now, I am one of you too. I read the stories as often as I can to gain inspiration and to keep my hope and faith “evergreen” with the hope that I can attain the results that I want.
My journey with The Secret began recently, when I was given my results. Disappointing to say the least, they were not very good. To tell the truth, I cried for hours blaming myself and visioning all sorts of negative thoughts, which were constantly bombarding my mind. A few days later, on an interview on the TV, a celebrity mentioned how he used The Secret and became a famous actor. I was puzzled at the thought of how a book can change one’s life. I chose to ignore it, but a few weeks later whilst exploring a friend’s twitter feed, I saw her mention The Secret and and also several others! To cut the long story short, I was being guided to The Secret and that’s what I truly believe. I read The Secret, started my academic studies, and began to apply The Secret.
I set a reminder on my phone, which every morning buzzes at 7 am and congratulates me for the wonderful results I have achieved.
I printed out my mark sheet from the end of the year in advance and wrote down the grades I wish to attain. I look at the mark sheet and thank God, thank the Universe for blessing me with the results. Sometimes, I feel submerged in goosebumps and tears just drop. At first, I wasn’t achieving the grades, even after applying The Secret. But then I realized where I was going wrong. Gratitude. I might have been saying thank you, but did I really mean it? I then began to feel every word of thank you I said. Visioned the grades in front of me and would say Thank you. I would jump with excitement and try to be happy as much as I could.
The result:
I’ve recently received some results on work which I have submitted and they have all been graded at an ‘A’. I have just hit the A boundary on the dot! Positive thinking, Gratitude is the secret to life. I thank God and the Universe once again for blessing me and to Rhonda and the whole Secret team for articulating such a beautiful secret to us.
Today I just made my own vision board and will write again once I’ve received my results at the end of the year, with full faith. I hope my story can help any students out there that feel down or depressed and are in search of that silver lining, just like I was a couple of weeks and months back.
Thank you!
