My husband and I met in Virginia where we started dating and getting to know each other but within 6 months he was offered a great business opportunity in California. He asked me to go with him but I was hesitant. I would be leaving my family and friends and everything that I knew. I took the leap of faith and here we are 9 years later happily married!

For the last seven years I have been working in the retail industry for the same employer, without any advancement opportunities and did not like the idea of being scheduled to work at 2 pm on Thanksgiving Day with no exceptions. I was thinking it’s time for a change. I had not been able to visit my family as often as I would like, especially for the holidays which are a very busy time in retail.

I started watching The Secret last year and really believed the principles and started applying LOA. I have been manifesting small things but I decided to go big and ask for something that would be amazing when it manifested. This year I asked the Universe for $5,000 in unexpected income and two plane tickets to Virginia for Thanksgiving by October 31st.

I wrote in my gratitude book every day thanking the Universe for the money and the plane tickets. I printed out the itinerary I wanted so I could see it every day and visualize, I contacted hometown friends to make plans once we arrived. I told my co-workers that I would be spending Thanksgiving on the east coast with my family instead of working. I wrote my resignation letter, I bought presents to give my niece once I see her. I told everyone who asked “What are your plans for Thanksgiving?” that we are spending Thanksgiving with my family in Virginia.

October 31st came and it was around 9:30 pm and still no sign of money or tickets but I still believed. I checked my email and I had received a notification that I had received a $1000.00 increase of my credit line and that the business credit card that I had applied for weeks ago was finally approved with a $2,000 credit limit! I was so excited!!!

The Universe provided a way for me to book these plane tickets and spend Thanksgiving with my family! I booked two plane tickets and my husband and I had a fabulous Thanksgiving on the east coast!
