Dear Rhonda and The Secret Team,

Thank you so much for bringing people together through these shared stories. Most stories I read are inspirational, uplifting, and heartfelt. I often have a tissue in hand as I read them. I love when people share, it’s very empowering, and so I decided to give back.

I received The Secret DVD a few years ago and watched it several times over. I love it! What The Secret means for me is; knowing who you really are and living your best life ever. I recently wrote and published a book, my first published book ever! I am so excited because I know it’s from giving thanks every day and being grateful for my life and my ability to read and write. I never thought of myself as a writer, but it just flowed out of me one day and kept on pouring out. I wasn’t sure where the writing would lead to, but I kept thanking and affirming to the universe that it be well written and well received.

To have it published, I started to image that I had a publisher I work well with. In the meantime I kept writing, and after three years, I was done. I began searching on-line for a publisher. There were many websites so I picked one and sent my contact information. Guess what? I got a call from Trafford publishing and they were interested in publishing my book (at my expense of course), even though they hadn’t read it yet. I wondered if this was too good to be true, so asked the universe what to do. In that moment I swear I could hear Joe Vitale’s voice saying, “The universe likes speed. Don’t delay, don’t second guess, don‘t doubt. When the opportunity is there, when the impulse is there, and the intuitive nudge from within is there; Act. That’s your job and that’s all you have to do.” And so I did.

Now I am a published author! The book is a short story and about me. It’s entitled ‘Having Fun With God’. It’s a personal story about my life experiences. It includes the highs and lows and how I come to know a grander understanding through it all. Writing about myself has been an incredible journey, and I didn’t know that writing can be so therapeutic. Not only did I receive healing from emotional wounds, but mental, spiritual, and physical healing as well.

Shortly after I was finished the book, I fell asleep for four and a half days. In the time I slept, I had lost about 20 pounds. Most of my clothes were hanging off me. When I went back to work, people were asking what kind of diet I had been on. “You look great!” Some of my co-workers commented. But it was the past I had let go of, not just weight. Now I’ve heard the term – ‘Mind, body and soul are all connected’ but that was the first time I’d ever experienced such a drastic change! I feel really good.
