I am a strong believer in God, I practice Christianity and remain faithful. This story I am about to tell happened before I read The Secret, however, I did have an idea of the law of attraction and the concept behind it.

I learned that once I stopped dwelling on the ‘how’ and ‘when’ of situations that I wanted to manifest, the more they were coming my way.

Last year, I was in the process of doing my A-Levels, and to be honest, it was one of the worst times of my life. I wasn’t putting much effort into my work and my mind just wasn’t with it at all, even though my dream was the go to the university of my desires. I kept thinking about how I could possibly get accepted into this university if my grades were not up to scratch. From the position I was in, I felt like I was unable to achieve the grade requirements needed to enroll in the course of my choice.

Every day for months, I was worried about how I was going to be accepted into this university and being able to study this specific course. This was now in May, and I was even more worried because people who were given unconditional offers were given theirs around February and March. I thought that my opportunity for an unconditional offer had passed.

Then, I finally adopted the mentality to not worry about ‘how’ all of this was going to happen and to instead just know that it would. I left it up to God and the Universe and then I let it go. I would say to myself  “You will get into this university and study this course, do not worry, you will!”. I stopped obsessing and worrying about the ‘how’s’ and focused on just going with the flow.

Fast-forwarding to June, I received a letter in the post from my current university saying that I was given an unconditional offer!!

I asked, I believed and then I received! I stopped dwelling on the ‘how’ and let God do the work.
