First of all, thank you to everyone for posting your stories here as they inspired me a lot. So here goes my story.

I was an average student until I read The Secret. Somehow I managed to complete my graduation and my sister lent me The Secret book to read. So, I read it and thought of applying it. I always wanted to pursue Law but pursuing law was not my only aim. I also wanted to pursue it at Asia’s oldest Law College, IE. GLC, Mumbai.

Starting from 2015 to 2017 I wrote in journals each and every day, saying thank you for getting me into GLC. I didn’t get good enough marks in the entrance exam to get into GLC though, but I got into a decent government college. I still kept being grateful.

The first year went superb. I was in the top 5 in college. Soon, I decided to apply for a transfer, but it didn’t work and I couldn’t get into the second best college after GLC, as I didn’t apply for it.

I stopped believing in the Universe. I cursed myself for not applying to the second best college even though so many seats were vacant. I knew where I was lacking, I didn’t let go. After the no vacancy list I didn’t have any option but to let go of the fact that I would not get in. So I just kept being grateful. A month later a guy posted about a second transfer list in a WhatsApp group. I thought of giving it a shot, but not to GLC this time but to the other college.

A short twist was that the first time that I was taking transfer, a stranger came up to me and asked for my number. She then called me when the second transfer list came, asking me to apply to GLC. I told her no but she was adamant, so I said I would apply to both.

The result date, I called the other college. The girl on the phone said, “I am sorry, your name is not on our list. But I think I have seen your name on GLC’s list.”. I couldn’t believe it. Tears started flowing. I couldn’t talk to anyone.

Some amazings were the fact that the stranger that took my number and after a month she called me and urged me to apply to GLC was magic. I would have not applied if it weren’t for her.

The fact that it was good that I didn’t apply to the second best college because if I did I would have gotten transferred to the second best. I wouldn’t have gotten into the best.

The third fact was that the first time I applied, there were 75 applicants. The second time I applied there were just 5 and we all got into it. I learned that no matter what happens, have unwavering faith and let it go. Right now I am manifesting to get into the firm where I interned. And I know I will!
