Thank you, thank you, thank you to God, Rhonda Byrne and the Universe. The Secret, The Power and The Magic are changing my life! I read The Secret in January 2014 and then read The Power and The Magic. I was so excited after reading these books. I started practicing right away and my life started to change. However, life/negativity got in the way and I went back to my old ways. I am still working on changing my way of thought to positive thinking only. I am getting back on track.

My story starts with my teenage daughter. She has been in a very unhealthy relationship for quite some time. Her boyfriend was controlling, mean to her, was always mad at her and always fighting with her. We tried everything to stop this. We forbid her to see him but it only made things worse. We finally agreed to let her see him but it had to be supervised visits at our home. I was so worried and still did not know what to do because she was depressed and not the same girl she used to be. This relationship affected our whole family.

Every day I read the stories on this wonderful website. It finally hit me that I had to just let go. So I started letting go and decided she needed to make her own choices. I also realized that I kept thinking about what I don’t want.

So I decided to make a list of the qualities in a boyfriend that I would want for her (everyone deserves the qualities on my list). I would read the list every morning and would think positive happy thoughts and would daydream about her and this new boy. I made the list in the beginning of August. I wish I wrote down the exact date! I had no idea how this was going to happen considering how much she wanted to be with her boyfriend.

However, 2-3 weeks later this new boy just shows up from out of nowhere. She started talking to him and hanging out with him. My hopes were high but I was still a little doubtful. I continued reading my list everyday.

About 2 weeks after she started talking to the new boy, she broke up with her boyfriend. She has been talking to this new boy ever since. From what I can see, he has so many of the qualities that I have on the list I made. This new boy fits perfectly with our family and we are all so happy! The happiness my daughter now has brings tears to my eyes!
