It all started when I watched The Secret on Netflix. It amazed me and I just had to share it with my family. I called my mother, who at the time, was going through a lot of troubles at work that were not her fault. I told her about the movie and suggested she see it. She isn’t that tech savvy and didn’t have Netflix so she didn’t show much interest.

A day later she called me saying her friend sent her a book in the mail, The Secret!

I know, right? Goose bumps! I freaked out and knew it was real.

A week later things started to get better with her lawsuit with work and things started moving. I told my father and his girlfriend about it and ironically enough they just watched the film the night before. For Christmas I received “Ask and it’s given cards” as a nice reminder. I still had not perfected the practice. A couple months later, I moved back to my mom’s, in debt and out of a job. I found my mom’s book and started reading The Secret again. I applied to a place not to far from home and got the job.

I’ve been thinking for months now what career path I should head down and how I’m going to live my life. I asked the universe for guidance or inspiration. I really was lost and had no path I thought was suitable. My mother’s boyfriend bought an income property and started renting it to my grandparents.

AHA! Real Estate Agent!

High school diploma is the only required prerequisite and it is a two year course. How have I not thought of this before?!
