Firstly, I would like to say thank you very much to Rhonda and The Secret team, all those writers of the successful stories and also to the LOA tutors out there. Now it’s my time to post the article and share with you guys my own successful story.

I think I have always been a confident girl. I don’t usually focus on my negative feelings. However, when I was in high school, before attending the public exam, I was so stressful. I really wanted to get into my dream university, but I always doubted if I could do it. As a result, I got a terrible result and eventually got into the community college.

I don’t remember when and where I got to know about The Secret book and movie, but after my failure in public exam, I suddenly remembered The Secret and tried to look for the movie. After watching the video, I felt so blessed and grateful and I was so relieved. I immediately put The Secret into practice. In that year, I got so many good friends, well-paid tutorial jobs, good family life, a trip to Italy for one month and also a university offer! I couldn’t be more grateful and thankful. I really have to say that the year was just so memorable and fruitful. It was all because of being positive and thankful. THANK YOU!

So it’s the end of my story? Nope. After getting into the university, I joined a worldwide student organization that allows students to go on an internship in another country for a year. After knowing this programme, I immediately said to myself that I had to join it because travelling has always been my biggest interest and it would be a really great thing for me to experience other cultures and at the same time, do an internship to enhance my competitiveness.

Actually it was not easy to join the programme, as you would have to pass through so many interviews. However, I believed in myself that I could do it and I would be a part of this programme. So of course, I was selected as one of the participants.

But after getting into the programme, people around me always said that it was so hard to be hired. Last year in Hong Kong, only 6 out of 22 participants were hired by the companies. I was scared and I felt worried. I did not have many work experiences but I really wanted a business related internship. I was stressful. I just kept focusing on the negative emotions and worrying about being rejected. Three months had passed but I still had no interview invitation, not to say an offer.

Suddenly, something reminded me again about the law of attraction. So I started to read books, movies and articles again to strengthen my faith. At first, I still had doubts and was not able to believe in myself. Therefore, I got no replies after the interviews and I got rejection from a really good internship. At that point, I was really disappointed. But hey, this couldn’t be the end. I suddenly remember The Secret and started to watch the movie again and again. Afterwards, I chose to focus on the positive energy and started to look for the job on the website.

I always wanted to work in Germany for a business related intern, therefore, I kept looking for the German internships and applied for them. I did the visualization and remained positive, I always imagined myself going to the airport with grateful attitude and a smile on my face. I even changed my facebook work info (of course only myself can see it), bought a travelling guide, started to pick out clothes for my life in Germany and listed out things that I should pack in my luggage. I said thank you to the universe and was grateful and happy wholeheartedly. In fact, I got really excited when I was waiting for the email because I didn’t just wish for the interview opportunity, I wanted to work there as soon as possible.

A few days later, I got an email from the manager, saying that they would like to have an interview with me in two weeks. I was really shocked as it was a pharmaceutical company which wanted someone to do the market and science research and I have no science background. I was very grateful and happy that at least I had a chance for an interview and I liked this internship a lot since I could visit Switzerland sometimes.

During those two weeks, I got a few rejections from other companies, but those did not change my mood. I still patiently prepared for the interview. I eventually had the interview on my birthday. Luckily, the interviewer liked me a lot and decided to HIRE ME !! I burst into tears of joy because I just couldn’t believe how powerful the law of attraction was. I received so many rejections because the universe was preparing something even better for me. You just have to trust the universe!

Thoughts become things. Visualization helps you to attract things you want, then just be thankful and trust the universe that it is doing it’s job to make it tangible. I also would like to remind you guys that whenever you think of your extreme desire to have it, think back on previous manifestations and soften your desire, remind yourself that you already own it. It becomes yours when you asked.
