Gratitude: The Game Changer.
Submitted by: Shanta Nair
IndiaI am going to complete half century of my life this year and that is a huge thing to be grateful for. A teacher by profession, I am a mother of two awesome grown up girls who are a huge support system to me. Reading for me is like breathing, and I have the entire 'Secret' book series which are my treasures. Despite all odds, I am in love with life and living and refuse to give up under any circumstance.
I have always known about The Secret Super App but kept waiting for the Android version. But until ten days ago, maybe it was just not time to actually discover what a treasure house it is.
I was going through a lot of internal struggle and life seemed to be throwing boulders at me. My emotions were all over the place. Being a bipolar and borderline personality disorder patient, life has never been simple to deal with, and indulging in negativity and depression has been a part and parcel of life. Complaining about everything has always come easy to me.
But then came the game changer. The Secret Super App and its lessons on gratitude. It’s been ten days since I have started religiously reading the stories, saying the affirmations and most importantly, come hell or high water, started writing things I am grateful for every day. Oh my! The positivity and strength I feel within me are immense. Now before I open my mouth to complain or even after a complaint escapes me, I quickly switch my channel and think positive. I think about the hidden blessings and lessons behind the adverse situation. I feel so calm and centered then.
I recommend The Secret Super App to any one who finds situations in life challenging. If it can do wonders for a pessimist like me, it can be a wonder drug for anyone. My disorder too seems more bearable now.
Thank you The Secret Super App!! Thank you, Universe!!
