Gratitude Rocks!
Submitted by: Believer
Heart of IndiaI love to read and helping people, birds, and animals.
Do not underestimate the power of gratitude. Just believe, no matter what the circumstances are, no matter what logically seems okay, no matter what everyone around you says, just keep your belief rock solid.
This is what I tell myself because even when I practice the law of attraction, sometimes I tend to become pessimistic and doubtful. I know to always replace doubt with unwavering faith.
My boss’s 2-year-old daughter swallowed her grandpa’s heart ailment medicine. My boss was very upset, and I consoled her, saying that nothing would happen to her daughter. She took her daughter to the hospital, where the doctor gave her the needed treatment and told her that her daughter might vomit a lot or feel dizzy. I visualized my boss coming to work the next day, smiling and telling me that her daughter was perfectly healthy and did not vomit or feel dizzy. I felt it with intense belief for some time and then forgot about it. The next day, my wish was granted exactly the way I had imagined. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I used to imagine and talk to myself, “What if I get a new job with a salary package of more than 10,000 rupees per month?” I used to just say it, feel happy with the thought, and then forget about it. Within a month, I got a job with a salary package of 17,000 rupees per month. I made good friends there and was very happy. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I was in a relationship with an amazing guy. We met at my new job and found out that we had attended the same kindergarten and elementary school. He even went to college where my mom was a teacher. It felt like we had been around each other our whole lives. We broke up because it was not meant to be; he was my karmic mate. I didn’t regret the break-up because I believe that when one door closes, another one opens. However, I missed my best friend. I missed his voice and his laughter, but our friendship suffered after the break-up. He didn’t answer my calls or reply to my text messages.
One afternoon, I went to the rooftop. My cell phone was in my pocket, and I spread my arms like a bird, feeling the wind enveloping me and the peace surrounding me. I smiled and said to myself, “I am not leaving this terrace until he calls me.” For 20 minutes, I stood there smiling, thinking about birds, bees, and flowers, and happy thoughts. Just as I was about to turn and walk back to my room, my cell phone vibrated. I took it out and saw that it was him. We spoke only for a minute, but I was happy. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I am currently seeking a job and hoping to marry my soulmate. I had already met my soulmate when I was 18, but he was reluctant to marry me because we belonged to different castes. I also want to own a house and a car and publish my book. I practice gratitude, but sometimes I forget about it. I want to be happy and feel alive every moment. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I pray fervently. I send white light and peace to all my friends. I help everyone, and I am waiting for good things to happen to me. I read somewhere that sometimes you have to be messed up before you can step up, and maybe God was testing me. I am a more mature, sensible, and patient person now, and I am ready to accept all the goodness that the Universe has to offer.
May we all be very happy.
May the world be a happy place to live.
May we find the love of our lives.
May we live united regardless of color, caste, or religion.
May there be peace.
May everyone have enough food, clothes, and a comfortable shelter.
May we have enough money to help ourselves as well as others who might be in need.
May we all be good humans.
May we all be happy and content in life.
Amen. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
