This may seem like a small example of the Law of Attraction in action but it helped me a lot to believe in it. I first saw The Secret about 2 years ago and have been reading on and off ever since. The past 2 or 3 weeks I have really started to believe, and now I read something about the law of attraction every day to keep my mind on track.

I always said that I should find a Gratitude Rock to help focus on what I really want but never did go in search of one. I thought that one day I would just find the rock that meant something to me and that would be the right one. I forgot about it from time to time until now.

I started reading The Magic and one of the steps is to find a Gratitude Rock. It is February now, and in Canada where I live there is about 2 or 3 feet of snow on the ground making it very hard to find a rock outside. I went for a few walks to see if one would cross my path but nothing. I keep saying all day that I would find it somewhere.

Later that day I went to my Mom’s house to borrow some milk. I asked her if she had a rock that she could give me and she thought I was crazy. She said that there was no rocks in the house but I had to look anyway. I went to all the rooms and found nothing but I forgot one room, mine. My room when I lived home with Mom and Dad was now the room that my son uses when he stays over to see his Grandparents. I walked in and on the dresser was 2 very nice colorful rocks. I picked them up and put them in my pocket.

Turns out that my son had picked them up outside last summer when he was playing with his friends. He did not know it at the time, but he found the rocks for a reason and when I asked him about it he said he remembered picking them up but did not know why. I gave one rock to my son and kept one for myself and explained why they were so special. Now every night before we go to bed we use our rocks to remember all the things we were grateful for that day.
