I woke up at 2:30 am one morning, unable to sleep. My mind was racing, and I was spinning out of control. I know that worrying is just praying for the things you don’t want. After a few minutes, I caught myself and decided to make a gratitude list. I began with gratitude for what I already have, the things I have had, and what I want to receive. One of the things I asked for was a surprisingly large amount of money to come to me.

Later on in the day, while visiting a friend, a law firm that I dealt with a year ago was calling me. I let it go to voicemail. When I received the message, it informed me that a check was ready for me to pick up. I called the law firm, and they told me that I had overpaid. They put me on hold when I asked what the amount was. At this point, I was already expressing my gratitude to the person on the other line. My friend was curious about the amount, and I suspected it might be $100. The person took me off hold and stated that the check was for $2,147. I expressed my gratitude some more and then said goodbye.

My friend of 38 years laughed at what she had witnessed. She finally sees the evidence in asking, believing, living in gratitude, and then receiving. She already asks for “Stacey’s parking angels” and always gets the best parking spots. For me, this was just another validation of God’s Universe!!

When you stop the fear that you are creating in your mind and redirect it to listing the things you are grateful for, your inner spark starts to grow. When it grows, manifestation flows, and the Universe shows. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
