Bali indonesiaA father, a husband who loves his family.
Everyone certainly knows that in 2019 the world was hit by the COVID-19 pandemic, where health problems became a risk to people’s lives. Everyone was required to keep their distance to prevent infection. Several countries banned their citizens from traveling abroad. As a result, the number of tourists coming to Bali decreased. Only a few only a small percent remained in Bali at that time. Hotels and other accommodations became quiet, house rental prices fell sharply from before the pandemic. We were forced to make our prices so low because the opportunity to find other customers was limited. The people that did remain were those who were trapped in a difficult situation, they could not return to their own country and could not work either. Because finances were running low, to overcome the lack of business operational costs we were forced to take out loans. It was indeed difficult when the price for rental houses was so low and guests were rarely coming, plus we had to pay our debts every month. This made me have to rack my brains.
But all during this hard time of despair I tried to be grateful. Maybe my business was not running smoothly at that time but there were still some guests coming. I still had rice fields so it was impossible for me to starve. I relieved my stress by looking at the rice fields and planting in the fields. The pandemic doesn’t feel like it has fully passed but now tourist visits are getting better and our debts are paid off.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! Thank you so very much to God and the Universe!
