Gratitude Is The Key To Everything We Want.
Submitted by: Winifred
NigeriaI am a 25 year old medical student in Nigeria, medical laboratory science to be precise. I am a firm believer in the law of attraction, miracles, and gratitude.
I am truly happy and grateful that I found The Secret Super App, it has been so wonderful and uplifting.
I have always wanted to write my own story since I got to know about The Secret Super App. Ever since I got to know about The Secret and the law of attraction, everything about my belief system and the way I view life has changed.
First of all, I want to thank Rhonda Bryne because she changed my life. Before I got to know The Secret I had tried four times, for four years to get into medical school. I was not able to do it as the cut-off mark was high and given how competitive the course was, you either get in through hard work or you have to know the Dean or Vice-Chancellor.
Do not get me wrong, I am super intelligent but somehow I just could not get in. I really tried hard for four years but each year after the first try I lost faith in myself. I was becoming depressed. I was at the lowest point of my life because my mates were getting admission each year and here I was still applying for admission. People suggested that I take a lower level course but I did not want to do that because being a laboratory scientist was my dream. I wouldn’t settle for less and I promised myself that I was going to get in no matter how long it would take me.
When I got The Secret I was on my fifth try. I had already written my first exam (JAMB) and I did not score very high but I got above the mark I needed to be able to write the university entrance exam. I wrote the university entrance exam and I got a pretty good mark, but I was skeptical because this wasn’t the first time I had gotten a good mark before.
Then I started practicing visualization, gratitude, and affirmations. I did this every morning, and in any spare time I got, I would start doing visualizations. I would imagine myself in class with my fellow students. I gave thanks for my name coming out on the merit list which is the first batch and the most qualified list. I gave thanks for my acceptance letter and for the wonderful friends I had made. I would be imagining how I would feel when it happened, and my only response was tears of joy because I knew I had come a long way.
Fast forward to the day the admission list came out online. My name came out in the 2019 Merit list! When I saw, “Congratulations, you have been offered admission into the department of Medical Laboratory Science”, I froze. I thought I was dreaming. Tears started coming out of my eyes. I started sobbing so hard because I could not believe it! This was my dream and it was finally coming to pass after 4 years! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Now I have the best of friends anyone could ask for in my department. I am on course to make first class in my department and by this time next year, I will be preparing for my graduation as it is a 5 years course.
I am so grateful for The Secret. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Thank you, Rhonda Byrne, for being a blessing to all of us. I am currently reading The Magic and The Power, and both are so awesome! I am truly grateful for this opportunity.
Always believe that you deserve everything good, and your dreams can come to pass.
