Gratitude and visualization really helped me,  so thank you Rhonda and The Secret team and thank you all for these lovely stories here.

During my student years I applied for my dream job at that time,  and I visualized myself going into the building of my dream company. I did this every night before I went to sleep. I had an interview and they did not pick me, but later on they called me for an interview for another job at that company and I got it.

But at this job I really didn’t like the people I worked with. We didn’t get along and I worked really long hours with bad salary and so I started to look for another job. One year later I did the same thing for another job in my dream company at that time and the job was perfect for me. I applied for a job and in this building, there were a lot of companies and I did not know what floor this company was on. I drove in front of the building and I just picked one window using intuition I guess and I imagined that I worked there and I was really grateful for the job.

I went to two hard interviews and I got the job. And you won’t believe it but I worked in the office with that window!! Every day I went to this company and I was really grateful that I start working there, but there was the same story. I didn’t get along with my “mentor”. I was doing mine and all her work plus work from my boss. I liked the company and my work, but my boss and “mentor” really took advantage of me working there. I realized that I had too many negative thoughts about them, so I started being really grateful for my coworkers and my boss and something amazing happened. I started to get along with everyone and they really appreciated me and so I got an offer from another department to work there, since they had heard really good things about me. Of course I sad yes and now I have the best boss I can imagine! She is really smart, knows what she is doing and is really motivating. I also have the best coworkers.

When I left my previous department I went to my boss’s boss to say thank you and goodbye and she said that it was really a pleasure working with me and that she knows that I am really smart and I know how to talk to people and that I should stick to that. I was really proud of myself, since I have anxiety from time to time.

So thank you, thank you, thank you! I think that this would not have happened without The Magic, The Secret and all the “Law of Attraction” books that I read. There is one main line in every book: be happy, be grateful, visualize and believe. It may be hard sometimes, but there is nothing you can lose if you try. If you want to practice gratitude then The Magic is really the book for you. I love it and I can’t recommend it enough! And if you need a little bit of boost every day, every morning I use The Secret app called “The Daily Teaching”, it works!
