I watched The Secret movie last night with my domestic partner, who has been practicing The Secret for about a year but never actually told me about it because I was not ready to understand it at that time.

I found The Secret website and bought the movie DVD so I can have it and listen to it on a daily basis. I downloaded the Universal Check and filled in an amount for an unexpected windfall and today I received a check from the US Treasury for $105.86. This check was my 2006 refund which never came, but somehow it came to me today. Today is the first day of my positive affirmations and meditations according to The Secret.

Also, we have a car; a ford mustang 6 cylinder black coupe called Robespierre, who, when I first bought it in June 2006 I had an accident in on July 19, 2006; my first ever. Since that accident I have been nervous driving the car wherever I went. I usually wear my cell phone, a talisman charm, and several other charms to ward off evil. I was petrified of the crazy drivers on the road charging ahead while driving their respective vehicles, seemingly without regard for others.

Today I went out with no cell phone, no talisman, no other jewelry, and I was fearless. So much so that the cars that I usually feared were gracious and their drivers extraordinarily nice to me, allowing me to cut into their lane and make turns when I had to. One truck even stopped dead for me to make a turn into my development, and he had a ton of cars right behind him, which would have meant that I’d be waiting a long time to make that turn.

Positive thought does really work because I thought while I was driving, “OMG, I don’t have my stuff with me!” A second later I thought, “I don’t need it. The car will protect me and my faith in my driving and in others will guide me”…and, it did.
