I had, unfortunately, let a couple of years pass by. I had gotten The Secret book, but I did not read it, instead, I put it aside.

Time passed and there were a lot of negative situations that me and my family lived through. When hurricane Maria swept our island, me and my husband had a horrible experience. A nearby river overflowed and flooded a lot of homes including ours. We had to deal with all the dirty water and got into one of our cars. We were trapped for two hours in this car until we were rescued by a neighbor! Time passed and we needed to go back to our only home, one our home was not safe anymore.

We got on the list for government help but there were so many people it was going to be years away before we could get help. We were living year by year in fear!

I got The Secret book again in September 2021. I studied it and then I started putting it into practice. On November 2021 on Thanksgiving day, I got a call from our lawyer saying that we got the help for our new home! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Having said all that, not long after I was studying The Magic, and I put it into practice. Not long after that, the paperwork started to be done for our new and safe home! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

It is amazing now as I read more and after seeing The Secret secret movie, my gratitude journal has become my everyday journal. I do my writing every night in it listing what I am grateful for that day.
