Grateful And That’s No Bull!

Kaneohe, HawaiiVery happily retired after 30 years in Human Resources. Capricorn, animal and nature lover who is grateful for my creative abilities, cooking, writing, art. Nature, and all her beauty, is important to me, so repurposing, gardening and living an environmentally friendly lifestyle is a priority for me. As we say in Hawaii "Malama Aina" or love, nurture, and embrace the land.
I lost my sweet, 12 year old Valley Bull Dog this past April and it was devastating for me. She had been my constant companion over the years, and she helped get me through some really rough patches in my life. Being older and forced to isolate myself at times, I am so grateful I had her as company.
About 2 months ago, I started having the desire to adopt a new dog and so I started envisioning my new buddy. A month later, my son was gifted a little Frenchy that got along wonderfully with his American Standard Bull. Yes, we love our bulldogs! I knew my son loved this dog, but I kept getting “nudges” from the Universe that he was meant for me. Of course, that negative voice tried to convince me that I was being selfish, however, I could not shake the feeling! So I went with it and actually asked the Universe to speak to my son for me. I envisioned myself being the owner of this sweet Frenchie.
Well, it happened! Two days ago my son asked if I’d like to adopt the Frenchie! I almost bawled my eyes out in public but decided to wait until I was in the car.
I immediately recorded it in my “grateful” journal, because I am grateful beyond comprehension for my new companion. I am also grateful for Ms. Rhonda Byrne and her faithfulness to her vision. I am thankful for finally understanding the law of attraction. Thank you for The Secret and thank you for my son, who is a champion of this lifestyle!
