Life can’t be predicted and one should go with the flow but I believe that if you apply The Secret and The Magic, you can dust the sparkles in your life. Thank you, thank you, thank you to Rhonda and everyone who introduced me to this amazing book that taught me to look within to find solace and a deep feeling of comfort.

I moved to this new city for a new job but apparently, the project didn’t go through and I was not enjoying the project that I was given. I had the best team in the world but I was not from their domain to be able to assist them. I felt helpless and miserable being in a job that was not using my expertise. After much thought, I decided that I would resign as I found myself stressed a lot and was not enjoying my work. I put down my papers in April and I said to myself that I would have an offer by the end of June. I planned that I would serve my 2 months notice period, after which I would take a break for a month and spend time with my family and close friends before joining a new job.

Within a few days after resigning, I got a call from a consultant asking if I was looking for a job change. She had found an old resume of mine from some job portal. I was surprised as I had not even updated my resume on any sites. I then updated my resume and shared it with her. Soon after, I was having interview rounds with this new company during the same time that I was serving my notice period.

Once my notice period ended, I really started enjoying my break period as somehow I knew that I would be joining this firm even though they were still interviewing other people. As a sign, I asked the Universe to show me the number 1978 on any vehicle, when the job offer was near.

I was traveling in a cab one day and a bike with the number 1978 went past me. In that very same week, I got the news that I had been selected for the job! To my surprise, I got my offer letter in my hands on the 30th of June with the salary that I had asked for!

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you so much for everything! My dream came true and I started to work the next week. During my break, I got to spend time with my best friend and my mother who had visited me unplanned.
