I hope this story brings a smile to your face as all the stories here have brought to me.

I first heard of The Secret on the Oprah show. I bought the book and the movie as soon as I could. Everything it said made complete sense to me, this is what my soul was craving! I was a very ‘lost’ teenager when it came to my spirituality because no religion made me feel fulfilled, until I learned about The Secret. I just felt happy to be alive and lucky to have this knowledge.

Well, my biggest manifestation so far has been my job. I was unemployed and fresh out of high school. So I would write on my Secret Journal every night about how I wanted my dream job to be. I wanted to be a secretary with nice coworkers, an appreciative boss and a certain salary. I even put pictures on my Vision Board, of a desk with the dollar bills I wanted hourly. My sister would say “No one is going to hire someone with no experience and pay you that amount of money” but I never listened to her, I just kept visualizing.

This went on for a couple of months to no avail, or so I thought. Then one day I just forgot about it and went on with my life.

I applied to a job that was no way near to what I truly wanted because I needed the money. I was happy with my new job. Sure it was tiring and the money was not so good but all my coworkers were so happy and funny, they made the work fun. I was there for almost four months.

Then one day I had a customer who asked if I knew someone who needed a job. He was looking for a secretary because his had just gotten a nursing certificate. He gave me his card and told me to give it to someone who was interested.

It did not hit me until the next morning when I told my mom about it and she said to give him a call and say that I was interested in the position. So I did. We met the next day and had my interview right there and then! It was a small company and he was the owner. I asked how much I would get paid and he said the exact amount I was asking for months earlier!

This was almost two years ago. I am still at that job and I could not be happier. My coworkers are good people, I feel lucky to call them my friends. My boss appreciates me and my salary has gotten bigger. My sister was shocked and excited that I had manifested my desire. She will even bring it up sometimes and say “I can’t believe you actually did it”, but I can. I believe 100%
